Clear wireless – the 4G WiMax service no longer offer a pay as your go plan for their wireless hotsport service. They shut down the service – Rover – over two years ago. However, if you know where to look, you can still find third party providers offering prepaid hotspot service using the Clear network.

Today, another one joins the fold – Karma. The karma hotspot device is a matchbox size unit costing around $70. However, instead of signing up for a contract, you simply pay $14 a gigabyte. In addition, the twist and why it’s call Karma is that anyone in the vicinity of your hotspot can log on to your hotspot and enjoy 100 MBs of usage. However, the service will automatically grant you a free 100 MB of data free for each person that signs on.

It’s a interesting concept and may be a great way for the service to introduce itself to the public. So will you join the Karma movement?
