There is one less reason not to go Prepaid for your mobile wireless phone service now. After years of skimping out on prepaid carriers, the Apple iPhone is officially landing on two prepaid carriers this month. On June 22, iPhone will land on Cricket Wireless for $549 and the following week on June 29th, it will land on Virgin Mobile.
The Virgin mobile deal is especially intriguing because it’s basically the Sprint iPhone 4S for $640 upfront. But in return, you can sign up for a monthly plan for low as $30 with direct debit. So while you will be paying more upfront, you’ll save in the long run with the prepaid plan. In fact, even if you keep the phone for only one year, you’ll still come out ahead. So who’s jumping into the prepaid iPhone craze?
