Well, this has been on frantic weekend for bargain hunters. No sooner had HP announced they’re ending productions on the Palm Tablets then when the tablets dropped in price to $99 for the fire sale.
Why would anyone want to buy a tablet that is never going to be supported or get more apps in the future? Well, like a lot of techies, we’re all hoping to purchase the great hardware for cheap and hack it to run Android instead. Provided this works, those lucky enough to snag one basically will have a top of the line Android tablet for less than one hundred bucks.
If you miss the fire sale, don’t worry too much. The mystical Amazon tablet is just around the corner. You can always save your money and put it to toward a tablet that is guaranteed to be supported. It may be more than one hundred bucks but we’re sure it’ll come with its own bell and whistles.
If you still have your heart set on the HP tablet. Sign up for the notification email below on the HP site. If they receive more stock, they’ll email you.
