Well, this is isn’t our usual cup of tea for our daily posts but the news is just too much fun not to share. Connect by Hertz, Hertz’s competitor to ZipCar in the urban market will make available all electric Smart Fortwo starting Dec. 15 in large metropolitan market such as NY City and San Francisco.

The Fortwo is one of our favorite fun cars and a godsend for parking in cities like NY. This may be the cheapest way to experience the electric Fortwo for the short trips or just for fun drive. We may just have to join Connect by Hertz to drive this little buggy.
